The Sustainable Beekeeping Network was launched at the Welsh Beekeepers' Association Spring Convention 2024.

March 23rd 2024 saw the formal launch of the Sustainable Beekeeping Network during the Welsh Beekeepers' Spring Convention which will held at the Royal Welsh Showground in Llanelwedd, Powys. The Network's Co-ordinator, Selwyn Runnett, said: "After a considerable amount of hard work we are pleased to launch this major initiative which will help all those beekeepers who want to see a future for beekeeping based on a clear framework of sustainability The new Network allows us to create a permanent network of beekeepers committed to change in UK beekeeping."
